Creating a service specific detailed profile allows our student to get a better understanding of your talent level as well as the type of services you offer. This really helps " weed out" leads that have little potential.

Is Lesson-Finder.com only in the U.S.?

Is Lesson-Finder.com Free?

Lesson-Finder.com search is 100% free for students to use and locate instructors.

How much do your teachers charge?

Each instructor sets their own lesson rates.It is up to the student and instructor to negotiate rate and ensure payment.

Where are the lessons held?

Students are provided the option to take lessons from home, in which the instructor will drive to your home, or you can choose to go to the instructor’s home/studio. Depending on what option you choose, only the instructors that match the destination in which you wish to learn will be shown to you.

What do I do if you don’t have a teacher in my area?

If we do not have an instructor available in your area, the best thing to do is try back after a short while. We add new teachers to the database everyday.

Do I have to provide my email and phone number?

Yes, you must provide a valid email in order to use Lesson-Finder.com You will receive a confirmation email as soon as you choose to have an instructor contact you, so that we may validate your email. We highly suggest that you enter a valid phone number as well. Most teachers prefer to call students for lessons as opposed to emailing and some teachers will not respond to you without a valid phone number. Your phone number and email address is not shown or used for any other purpose other than to give the instructor you specified a way to contact you.

What if the teacher I chose doesn't contact me?

If you have contacted a teacher and they have not responded we recommend that you wait 24 hours before making a second attempt. After 48 hours if you have not received a response from your desired instructor please search again and find another instructor that will fit your needs.

Can I request more than 1 instructor?

Yes. Students can request as many of our instructors as they wish.

What if you don’t have the type of category I am looking for?

If we do not offer the type of lessons you wish to take, please email us to recommend adding the category that you are looking for.

How can I leave a testimonial or review for my teacher?

After you have experienced a lesson with one of our instructors you may return to the web site and leave a testimonial or a review of the instructors performance. This helps other students learn from you experience.

How do I sign up for Lesson-Finder.com ?

Signing up for Lesson-Finder.com is a very easy. From the home page simply click on JOIN NOW. You will then be asked to fill out a quick and easy registration form. As you will see our registration is tailored to the service you provide. In other words if you are a tennis instructor, your profile will vary from a piano instructor. This is truly what separates us from the competition.

What is the cost for teachers?

Why do I need a Profile?

Your service specific profile is what separates you from the other instructors. This is where you get an opportunity to really let our students get a feel for you and your services. Your profile is the most important feature of your membership. In order for a student to select you over other instructors, you must give them a reason why.

How do I set up my profile and view an example profile?

In order to set up a profile you must first register and activate your account via email. Once you have completed the registration process you will login and then edit your profile as you desire. in order to view an example of a current instructor profile simply click here.

How do I edit my account?

Log in to your account using your username and password. After you have logged in all of your options to edit your account will be present. You may edit your account from anywhere you have internet access at anytime.

What if I don’t get any leads?

If you do not get any leads you simply do not pay! We recommend modifying your profile and headline to attract more students. Adding a photo to your profile is also an excellent way to attract students.

Can I see how many students are looking at my profile?

To see your personal stats, just login using your login and password. At that time you will be presented with a instructor dashboard which will give you an overview of profile views, leads and testimonials etc.

How long does it take until my profile is visible to students?

Your profile will be live on our web site immediately after activating your account via email.

How will I know when I’ve received a lead?

When you receive a lead from one of our students we will then send you an email with a notification as well as an alert within your account presented after you have logged in.

Can I manage my leads and contacts?

Yes. All of your leads are organized for you within your account. This feature is designed to allow you to organize your contacts and leads with little effort.

Can students view my address?

When you register you must provide us with a valid address.However student can only view your city and state. Not your home address. We also display a map of your general location for our students convenience. This allows our students to find you location with little hassle.

How do I place my account on-hold?

If you are currently unavailable to accept lessons you must login to your account and change your status to "away" by simply clicking on the link that displays whether or not you are available.

How do I cancel my membership?

You may cancel you membership by login in to your account and selecting "cancel my account" or contacting us directly

We take privacy very seriously. We do not sell, rent, share, trade or give away any of your personal information, unless required to by law. We are 100% spam free. We hate Spam as much as you do. If we find that any of our members or users has violated our Terms of Service by sending unsolicited messages, we will investigate and take action immediately.
